who we are
Inspired by the ancient Cretan mythology and the legend of KRIS, the first Cretan king, we created the brand of KRIS to host and promote the very finest extra virgin olive oil from the purest groves of Crete and Greece. The Cretan variety Kritikia or Koroneiki is a unique variety producing extra virgin olive oil with low acidity and distinguished aromas and taste. Our long-term collaboration with highly qualified and caring agronomists all over the country has given us the unique opportunity to select and harvest only the very best olive fruits from rich landscapes and to monitor very closely the growth and production of the olive trees for maintaining the best quality result year after year…

Mountaineer Selection
Kris extra virgin olive oil Mountaineer Selection is produced by olives gathered from special groves 500m above sea level and by local farmers located at Municipality of Viannos. Viannos is well known around Greece for its best olive oil quality hence the PDO label. The Cretan variety Kritikia or Koroneiki is a unique variety producing extra virgin olive oil with low acidity and distinguished aromas and taste. Kris, the first king of Crete, the oldes Curetes chose the best product of Viannos, the olive that derives from the mountains, where the groves are isolated and pure.

We monitor the growth and nutrition of the olive trees all year round and enclose only the finest extra virgin olive oil from the best olive groves. White bottle is intended for organic EVOO. Black for PDO Viannos, Irakliou Kritis Mountaineer Selection. Blue and Green bottle can host and enclose either your choice or our best selection of 2020-2021 crops.
